Of all of the Route 66 photographs I have made of tourist courts and motels in Texas, this building is the most nostalgic. The stucco walls, spanish tiles and indoor parking combined to make this Conway motel truly unique. ("Buddie's Cafe", another photo on the Texas Route 66 photography home page, was the restaurant part of this motel.)
