Although the entire state provided sites for my Route 66 photographs, most of my subjects appeared in the area between Mesita and Prewitt - roughly just off I-40 and between mile markers 117 to 63. The route from Clines Corners (I-40, exit 218) northwest to Santa Fe, then southwest to Albuquerque was another area of interest.
