| When I made this photograph at age 14 on my uncle's farm in Wisconsin, I made it as just a snapshot of my uncle who was home on leave during World War II. It was 45 years later, as I went through my old negatives that I saw the conflict in this picture. All subjects are very dark and almost unidentfiable, the soldier is being "attacked" by a German shepherd, the auto is at a cocked angle, etc. A very mysterious photo, quite by accident. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
